I'd like to remind that requirements for equipping marks work same way as for normal marks:

Mark should be equal level or lower than item you're trying to equip it.
Mark should be same class as item piece you want to equip it to.

So i will ask to clarify exact name of mark you are trying to equip on Ethereal Shield? If you mean Light Fire Mark Protection V , please double-check description of it:

Fits a slot: Magistrate of Six Schools.
Classes: Berserk, Witcher.

And it looks like you are trying to equip it on Paladins items.


Merged both of your threads and looking into your issue , as far as i see you have two Ethereal marks already equipped one on shield and one on weapon. But logs are showing that you have used 3 marks - Light Stamina Mark V , Light Chaos Protection Mark V and Light Earth Mark Protection V. And Light Fire Mark "Protection V" is only mark that should still be in your inventory.

Thanks Ihit - Major oversight on my part. I was in such a rush to get some sort of protection from Fire that I missed the witcher/berserker tag. I peeled off my light chaos protection mark v to put on the Fire Mark. Although it was my oversight, is there any way we can reverse the financial damage on this? I have spent a ton of money on this game over the last couple of weeks and obviously would like to maximize my investment.
