Makes me wonder why I spend dollars on this game which likes to create bugs instead of solving them!

your items do break only at the last duel if you die , it shouldent during the 2hr of fighting collecting bombs

As already mentioned by Nofear_Blade , during collection of bombs you shouldn't lose any durability however if you die during main event you can still lose it.
