I won the battle and suddenly a level 50 fight with me! Why???AND I LOSE

DUNGEON, you may have a Hunter's Kit equipped. Sometimes after a regular fight (not involved in a quest), you will find what is called a "tracked monster" which is, of course, the level 50. They are a little bit of a challenge to defeat so i'd suggest you get a dragon before taking them on. Unequip the hunter's kit you had on then the tracked monsters will not appear.

As mentioned , all 'tracked' monsters from Hunter's Kit are level 50 , however the lower your level the weaker they will hit / have less hp.
