I can't even find them in the shop

They're available in "Orbs" section of shop.

I have same problem as number 1.

Found them but I am now having the similar problem to bubba, bought them, they are in my backpack but not registered for the quest

after I finish the "popper" part of the quest it said I was done with quest... never did show I finished that part but I got credit for it....

Poppers in "x" - you'll need to buy / acquire yellow poppers during this quest instead of Squibs, it's simply description issue.

Same problem as the first one no dedaire squibs to find anywhere. Finally got a hold on a guardian, then finally hear from the guardian it's not called dedaire squib, but it is the yellow popper in the orb section.
Then buy the yellow poppers and use them : 3 x on winery road, 3 x AoH, 3 x ToH, but they are not counted, it even doesn't show that i bought them.
So this is very nice, it's costing a lot of silver and people get nothing, not even an explanation . ">">

Both squibs and poppers are in the orb section of the shop. If the quest is use squibs, that is out of combat, poppers are in combat.

In my shop there are NO dedaire squibs to buy, only poppers
