Unusual Track quest item issues

I completed a quest and got an "unusual track" item that I can't get out of my inventory, but the quest no longer exists......how can I get rid of it?

Quest items do not take up any space/weight from your inventory anyway.

its there for good... i have a collection item from last valentines day thats still there..
