Incorrect Listing (How to use in a calculation?)

What do you do when a listing is far more expensive then the other listings?
How do you calculate the market price?

For example, the lowest listing at the moment for spark of inception is 20 silver. The highest listing is 10 gold and 1 silver. Clearly the highest listing is either a mistake or was just put there to (be used to calculate the market price) force people to sell there listing for a much higher market value allowing those who do not use that listing in there market value calculation to sell for much cheaper which in turn boosts there sales.

If the answer to this example is to not use the specified highest listing in the market price calculation because it is either to high or a mistake, could you please tell me in detail how to differentiate between an item that is to be excluded in a market price calculation versus an item that altars the market price by a considerable amount but is still to be considered a part of the market price calculation.

After being back for three days, this seems to be the biggest question/roadblock I have. Please elaborate in detail as to leave no room for the opportunity for me to make a mistake in one of my biggest aspects of the game I strive to take part in (trading).

Thank you in advance for any and all help/time you dedicate to not only this problem, but to the game in whole.

You can simply avoid using such auctions in your calculations, people used to use auction house as storage, however that does not work anyone and has been fixed. It's possible that someone is doing it out of habit. High prices were simply used to avoid your items being purchased. Point being simply ignore obviously overpriced/under priced auctions in your calculations.
