You've just been mis-informed. If any of your characters are silenced you can't speak in any of the general tabs as it's considered by-passing your silence. Doesn't matter which character it was given to.

thanxs i didn't know that,i knew if main was silenced no one can talk,but i was told by midnight that the reverse isn't true,ur main is separate from alts in punishment,and i stated this in previous posts,when i was silenced before and i used my alts to communicate,i didn't try and communicate,i tried to talk to her that is it,she is power hungry,these guardians have to much power in this game,goes to their head,i watched a guardian silence some kids un main chat just because they were talking about their battle in aoh to each other,that's childish,they were talking about the game,i seen couple of people awhile back trying to figure out how to make 6875 symbols,so i went on main and helped them i was threatened silence for doing just that,but then this same guardian can go on main chat and type poems to her friends in main chat and that is ok,but we can't talk about the game,they have to much power goes to their head,i have banned myself from the game for a whole day,that's how much faith i have in this,i don't trust any of them,this guardian also told me awhile back that alts can fight in dot as long as u r only playing one of them att,not multiple ones,apparently she was wrong about that as well,and i fear i will suffer the consequences of her stupidity,if u can't trust the guardians to give u the right rules then what r u suppose to do,can't trust going to ihit,i made that mistake once,told i was violating rules,i am no cheat,so i went straight to ihit and informed him her or whatever that i might be breaking rules,i anted clarification,1st offense,haven't played since oct 2012,my alt was jailed while we were talking,no warning just slapped with a $15 fine,so naturally when this other thing happen,i didn't trust going to ihit,to ask,and guardians r stupid half the time,not all just some,and again,no warning,no nothing,wasn't even told why just stole all my mastery points from me,ktulu10,16,132..these numbers haunt me,but that's ok,i dropped it even though they royally screwed me,and here we r again,game is becoming not worth playing ">">">

Yeah, if one of your players are silenced, and u talk on alt to anybody or anything, u get silence for a day

It is forbidden to bypass silence by using your other characters.
