main chat missing

I can't see main chat... people get my messages but it goes as private. I can't see what is going on. Any way to fix this

Un-click the icon that is right next to smileys one, if it's active it only shows you the messages directed to you.

Did that, still don't get main chat. Don't see out going or incoming messages unless it is private

Click on chat tab -> gear icon, make sure "Location Channel" has been ticked in.
