We get reduced xp for killing below our level, how about increased xp for hitting above?.

also on that could we adjust the amount of xp needed so leveling up is a little easer

We already get increased XP for fighting above

I did not noticed any notice come up when I hit one above my level.

Xerd, exp already goes up if you kill a mob above your level. There is not notice for it, look at the exp return numbers.
