why are players chasing the answers, i would think de would want to keep it's paying customers and would do everything to get paypal back, maybe i'm mistaken, but without paying customers there is no game

Well, here's another player who won't be putting any money into the game unless paypal returns. The owners of DE should be the ones putting pressure on Payment Wall to get Paypal back. (wtf)

Well I've just tried to use payment wall, which is advertised as being the easy way to buy in game credit and I'm confused.
I think that getting shut of paypal in its original format was a big mistake. I used to find it easy as it was and as a long term paypal user....Trustworthy. Please, please bring back paypal (exactly how it used to be).

I was unsurprised that the flash problem wasn't a big priority on their lists - that's merely a problem for the users (I'm still totally unable to log in from one computer). However, this impacts their income. It's pretty surprising that they haven't made this more of a priority. In the end, we all just vote with our dollars. If people are unhappy with PayPal being taken away, just don't spent money on the game. They'll bring it back.


We're expecting to fix issue on monday with update , mean you can use work around mentioned on bottom of page here: http://dragoneternity.com/forum/bugs/4710.html#cP=1 , to be able to log-in before the update.

Regarding paypal as mentioned we'll be bringing option back as soon as possible.

It's been nice giving my paypal account a rest. Don't bring it back or I'll be poor again.

I'm not entirely sure which guardian edited my post and provided the link to downgrading flash, but it's pretty amusing. Flash is riddled with bugs and security problems, hence their frequent updates. Does anyone seriously expect players to forgo these fixes, and keep themselves less secure, for DE?

The PayPal update is promising though. If I understand correctly, that wasn't the fault of DE's publishers, just their payment service. Given how many people I've heard complain about it, I can't imagine that DE is happy about the income reduction.

It was only temporary workaround, currently you are able to log in with latest flash without any issues. Also we are doing last tests to bring Paypal back due to countless requests of players.


Edit: Paypal option has been made available once again.
